| ITT Watermark | MercyCorps |
ITT Watermark is ITT's signature philanthropy program. The mission of ITT Watermark is to make a sustainable mark in the world by providing safe water to children and families in need. To accomplish this goal, ITT will provide safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to underserved schools in the developing world, and develop and employ a proactive emergency relief strategy that will allow ITT to provide financial, in-kind and employee support in times of disaster.
Water For People and MercyCorps – share a common belief and approach. We believe the best way to create sustainable results is to empower local communities. Together, we act as indirect facilitators, providing water technology, sanitation facilities and hygiene education. These solutions allow local governments, the private sector and communities to effectively operate and manage their water systems year after year.

ABWA Houston Area Council
The Houston Area Council of the American Business Women's Association was chartered on August 27, 1987 and consisted of 9 chapters: Clear Lake Area, Downtown, Gold Key, Houston Charter, Magic Circle, River Oaks, San Jacinto, Skyscraper, and Space City. Leaders of these chapters saw a need for all chapters of ABWA to communicate with each other to better utilize the vast experience of the membership.
The mission of the Council is to promote involvement among participating Chapters and Express Networks, and to provide opportunities for combined activities to enhance our membership, to publicize ABWA and to promote education within our community.
Today, the Houston Area Council consists of 18 Member Organizations with an approximate total membership of 674. The Houston Area Council is one of 66 councils registered in the United States with the National American Business Women’s Association. Chapter or Express Network dues are $50 per year. Individual dues are $20 per year for National members in good standing.
